Why we give.
Giving is one of the key ways we worship God. Throughout Scripture, we see that God gave first. As we grow more like Christ, we grow in our giving.
In Malachi, God invites his people to bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so there will be food in his house. It is an act of trust, not transaction. By partnering our resources together, God's work is done more effectively here in Marietta and around the world. Every gift, of any size, is part of that.
“He who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little.”2 Corinthians 8:15
This is the equality Paul writes about in 2 Corinthians 8:13–15. Generosity levels the ground. When we give, the whole body is strengthened. That is why we give.

Stocks & assets
Giving appreciated stock can be a tax-wise way to give. We will help you make the transfer simple. Contact Carole Morris and she will walk you through it.

By mail or in person
Mail a gift to the church office, or give during any Sunday service. Contributions postmarked by Dec 31 count for that tax year. The office is closed Dec 25 through Jan 1.

Yes. Your information is encrypted and kept confidential. You can manage your method of giving, edit recurring gifts, and download statements whenever you need them.
What is the deadline for 2026 tax deductions?
Contributions received or postmarked by 12/31/2026 will be posted in 2026. The church office is closed December 25 through January 1. Mail to Eastside Church, Attn: Contributions, 2450 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068, or give online anytime.
